The Moose Lodge was badly outmatched Tuesday, losing 12-3 at Don Q's 1. Don Q's Jeff Azevedo was the leading scorer on the night, winning three games while
notching his first table run of the season. Teammate Robert Rosa extended his league winning streak to 18 games with his three wins. Captain
Jim Holloway also had three wins. Juan Manzo, Sebastian Aldana, and Jorge Guerrero gathered the lone Moose game wins. Undefeated Don Q's 1
Chris "The Ripper" Ackler extended his league-leading win streak to 19 games as he led his Sportsman 1 crew to an 11-4 victory at Bak Dor 2. Sportsman jumped
out to a 2-0 lead, and after Bak Dor narrowed the gap to 3-2, Sportsman brought out the hammer and won the next seven games to secure the match.
Bak Dor was led by Rundi Culp, who had two game wins. With the win, Sportsman 1
Old King's Road 2
Old Town Tavern mixed in some good play with lucky breaks to edge host Sportsman 2 by a final of 9-6. Sportsman's Kate Williams had two premature 8-balls fall, and
that was the difference in the match. Marty Schwind had three wins to lead Old Town Tavern to their second straight win. Old Town
Break Time 2 gave powerhouse Cliff Room 4 all they could handle, but in the end Cliff Room was too tough as they pulled away with a 10-5 win. Cliff Room
got out of the gate early, winning the first three games, but behind Bill Fedderson and Dave Guzzi's four combined wins, Break Time won 5 of the next 9 games to stay in the match.
Cliff Room's Fahim Azizi slammed the coffin shut with his win over Dennis Nupdal, and Maurice Elias put the final nail in the lid with his third win, a table run over Break Time's Ed Ogden.

Playing short-handed, host Cliff Room 2 suffered their second straight loss Tuesday, dropping a 9-6 decision to Monty's 3. Dean Tokumaru, Todd Knudsen, and Phil Beach provided all of
the Monty's scoring as they each had three wins. Brandon Teris and Brendan Mackey both had two wins to pace Cliff Room. The scoring in this match was interesting as
the teams traded pairs of wins though the first 12 games before Monty's finished out the night with three straight wins. With the victory, Monty's 3

In the first of two Creekside hoe-downs, Creekside 1 jumped out to a 5-0 lead and cruised to an 11-4 victory over Creekside 2. Ricardo Topete and Jessica Carr led Creekside 1 with
three wins each, while captain Keith Gruel led Creekside 2 with two wins, including a win over previously undefeated Mike Linetsky. Creekside 1
Break Time 5 handed home-bar rival Break Time 1 their first loss of the season as they won convincingly, 10-5. Three-game winners Bob Pastor and Ed Martin helped stake Break Time 5
to an early 3-1 lead, with the only loss coming by way of a Ray Arias table run. Two-game winner George Guerrero helped Break Time 1 narrow the gap to 4-3, but Break Time 5 then won
the next three games to go on the hill at 7-3. Captain André Aparicio won in game 11 to keep Break Time 1 on temporary life-support, but in game 12, Ed Martin secured the
Break Time 5 victory with a win over Marc Alexander. Guerrero ended the night with a break-and-run, his second run of the season. Both teams now have a 2-1 record and sit in 4th place
in their respective divisions.
