Don Q's 1 [9] at Endless Summer [6]
Endless Summer fought hard against visiting Don Q's 1, but they couldn't figure out Brent Boone. Boone's break-and-run in game seven broke open a 3-3 tie and sparked Don Q's to a three-game streak that proved to be the difference in the match. Endless Summer's Nick Doerr took over sole possession of 1st place in A Division with his two wins and one table run. Don Q's 1 (4-2) moved up to 5th place with the win. This was the second loss in a row for Endless Summer (4-2), who slid hard from 3rd to 6th place.
Monty's 1 [8] at Brewco Lounge 1 [7]

For the next 10 games the two teams traded blows. Brewco win, Monty's win, Brewco win, Monty's win. Allred's second win of the night put Brewco on the hill at 7-6, but the night belonged to Knudsen and Bushnell, who closed out the match with wins to send Monty's home happy. Old Town won the next two to go on the hill, then three-game winner Coco Padilla won to put the Moose on the hill as well. That set up the final game between the two captains, Younger and Mike "Stinger" Perez. Jay stung Mike to give Old Town the victory. Old Town Tavern (1-5) climbed out of the B Division cellar and into 13th place. Moose Lodge 1 (1-5) fell to 12th place. |
Roundin Third 1 [7] at Break Time 5 [8]
Undefeated Break Time 5 had to come from behind to defeat visiting Roundin Third 1. Two-game winners Brian Guajardo and Kumi Rauf helped Rounding Third build an early 3-1 lead. Break Time, who never led the match until the final game, was saved by three-game winners Ed Martin and Mike Rys. Martin's table run in game seven helped Break Time tie the score going into the beer frame, and Rys, playing in the anchor spot, ended the match with a hill-hill win over Chris Koerner. That was the fourth hill-hill win for Rys in the last three seasons, the most of any player over the last two years. 2nd place Break Time 5 improved to 6-0. 7th place Roundin Third 1 fell to 3-3.
