When Robert Rosa posted his second win of the night, Don Q's 1 had climbed to within a game at 6-5, but Don Q's 4 slammed the door shut with two more wins. | There was no more magic left in the bottle for Sportsman 2. Last week's darling Adriana Vega opened the night for Sportsman 2 by sinking the 8-ball on her third shot, and things went downhill from there. Pete Conover and Harry Peltz both had two wins with a table run to lead Sportsman 1. Teammate Chris Ackler also had two wins, including a nice carom 8-ball shot to clinch the match. The 8-2 victory puts Sportsman 1 in the quarterfinals against division rival Don Q's 4. Sportsman 1 defeated Don Q's 4 in their last meeting, but lost to them earlier in the season. | |

| Break Time 4 overcame an early 2-0 deficit to post a convincing 8-4 win against Roundin Third 2. Two-game winner Mundo Burquez opened the match with a win for Roundin Third 2, but after Juan Manzo extended his teams lead to 2-0, Break Time took command by winning six straight games. Jaime Hernandez temporarily stopped the bleeding with a table run in game 9, but Break Time took 2 of the next 3 games to secure the victory. John Rivetti, subbing for David Robb, led Break Time with three wins, including the match-clinching win. Break Time 4 advances to the semifinals to face undefeated Monty's 2 for the third time this season. Monty's 2 dominated both previous matches, winning 10-5 and 11-4. | |
